Spring in with Crazy 8

It’s finally Spring, and with the warmer weather comes a change in wardrobes.  And just because it’s Spring, it doesn’t mean every outfit has to be pastel-hued.  I was perusing Crazy 8’s website and found this super cute ensemble for girls, which would be perfect for Easter or Passover celebrations.

I love the modern but simplistic embellishments, as well as the playful, girlish bow on the top and paired with the fun skirt.  The brown and blue color palette is a nice change of pace from the usual pinks and sages of the season.  Best of all, it’s affordable from Gymboree’s sister store, Crazy 8.  The top is on sale for $14.99 and the skirt is on sale for $22.99.

And good news for Crazy 8 enthusiasts:  it looks like their parent company, Gymboree, is doubling their plan for stores this year. According to the San Francisco Business Times, the children’s retailer now plans to open 75 to 100 new Crazy 8 stores this year, not the 50 previously announced.

I love Crazy 8’s affordability and modern prints.  I’m crossing my fingers that we get a store that’s close and convenient to us!
