Nuchi train sets: simple and classic

Of the menagerie of talking, beeping and blinking toys, perhaps the most popular playthings in our home are the ones that don’t make a sound at all.  No motion sensors, no batteries, no noise: the kid loves these toys as much as us.  Silence–and simplicity–is a beautiful thing.  Haba, Melissa and Doug and Plan Toys are some popular picks, but Nuchi is a newer line that I have my eye on, particularly the simple and classic train sets, like this Oval Train Set w/Crossing Barrier.

Nuchi which is part of the Little Little Little Toy Company is still fairly new that their website hasn’t even launched yet.  Though still new, these toys, including the train sets, have quickly become a favorite for parents and their toddlers and preschoolers.  Nuchi toys embrace simplicity in hopes of fostering imagination—the old fashion way.  I love that the company even suggests, “it’s about nuts and bolts, not bells and whistles, that are best for children.”

A trainset this simple and classic would be perfect for younger train lovers.  And in the $30-range, it fits the bill as an ideal first trainset.  Nuchi wooden railways are completely compatible with Thomas, BRIO and other wooden railway systems, and would be great add-ons to those growing train collections.  All trains are finished with a safe, durable paint, and all Nuchi toys are independently tested to ensure that all safety standards are exceeded. Be sure to check out Nuchi’s great selection of different trains, sets, tracks and other add-on pieces.

Nuchi toys can be found online at Amazon and Trains Galore.
