Thanks for the review, Melissa! Great points. I'm sure Kideos will appreciate the feedback! I'm hoping those specific videos were exclusive examples of slow loads. We've been perusing the site for a few days now and haven't had any major loading problems. On our end, when the videos are prepping to load, there's a swirly circle graphic that shows it's loading. Many video sites utilize the YouTube API, and many of those sites are starting to charge for membership! Take advantage of the free resources while you can :)

Ramona, Beverly Cleary and Ronald Dahl---all awesome! Little House on the Prairie books are the best :) I can still visualize the shelves in my elementary school's library that held all the Little House books. So fun!

I totally hear you on ripping apart the "good" books. I think we have 2 Eric Carle books that are in small enough shreds to be considered confetti. Oh my gosh, I love, love LOVE Richard Scarry books. Now those books bring back some great memories for me. And Sandra Boynton? She's a superhero in our house!

For parents w/ younger ones, I'm hearing reviews more like yours, Dena. I was hoping for it to be like Monsters Inc. too. If Hunter doesn't like it, then I'm sure most little kids would lose interest fast. It's too bad it's not engaging enough for the little kids.
