How to help families affected by Hurricane Sandy

It’s been a LONG while since I’ve updated, but since I’m connected with most of you on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, then you already know by now that like so many others in the Northeast, my family has been without power for about a week. Though our inconvenience is nothing compared to many others in our area, it has, nonetheless, been a struggle to find warmth, food and other everyday staples. Thankful to still have our home, health and family, we will continue to hang and help as much as we can.

Everyone seems to be helping in their own ways, but in case you’d like to help out those severely affected by Sandy’s wrath, here are some ways:
