So, you know the Yo Gabba Gabba There’s a Party in My City tour I’ve been buzzing about?  Well, there will be a party in my city!

As I mentioned in a previous post, there are three NYC shows on November 21st at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. (which are both sold out), and because they’re awesome, they added another show at 5 p.m. so more Gabba fans have a chance to hang with the gang. 

DJ Lance, Brobee, Toodee, Muno, Foofa and Plex are expected to rock out to various tunes, including some that are heard regularly on the show.  And I hear that there may even be some special guests at the shows.  Trust me, the Yo Gabba Gabba gang knows how to get down.  (Like there was ever any doubt!)

But, if there was ever a reason to do a Dancey Dance, today’s the day!

Oh yeah, friends.  That’s right!  Our friends at W!ldbrain are giving one lucky NKT reader four tickets to see Yo Gabba Gabba at the SOLD OUT 11 a.m. show on November 21!  Awesome, right?

Concert tickets, in general, can get pricey—nevermind ticket prices in NYC—which is why I’m so excited about this AWESOME GIVEAWAY.  Four tickets to this show, which run as high as $75 last time I checked, is a dealbreaker for many families.  I think it was quite generous for our friends at W!ldbrain to offer this fabulous giveaway—which by the way, is definitely my favorite/most awesome giveaway ever.

So listen up friends, to win the Awesome Giveaway for four tickets to see Yo Gabba Gabba on November 21, at the 11 a.m. show at Beacon Theatre, you must comment below with your favorite character, celebrity guest or Dancey Dance from the show.  Multiple entries are encouraged.

  4. My daughter Brianna is a huge fan of Yo Gabba Gabba. She likes all of the characters, especially silly biz markie. The show has done a great job teaching her about feelings such as happiness and being scared coupled with the flavor of music and dance. A great way to learn. Also NKT is a great resource for practical no nonsense advice on what products and new ideas are coming to the marketplace. KEEP UP the GREAT WORK!

  6. I think my favorite guest was Jack Black. He just seems like a totally cool person and the perfect person to hang with the YGG bunch, you know? I love that he has been vocal about his kids watching (and learning from!) the show!

  14. I love Super Martian Robot Girl! I know she is not an actual character ~ but help help Super Martian Robot Girl!! A lil pink monster just came up to my ice cream and called it Momma! ~or~ Help! Help! No one is dancing at my dance party! LOL I could really just spend a day with the writers of that skit or better yet ~ go out on a night on the town with them! :)

  15. My favorite song is the party in my tummy song (of course) But honestly ~ Most of their songs I tend to use on every day basis ~ Like when my 22 month old won’t eat something ~ I sing “Try it! You’ll like!” and when she drops something on the floor and goes to eat it ~ “We are the tiny ugly germs and we’ll make you sick!” Also at my daycare and at home we sing the Clean it Up song to get the kids to pick up toys ~ and they do as soon as I start singing!! Yo Gabba Gabba is a huge part of our lives… it was all Izzy would watch the first yr of her life. Elmo has nothing on DJ LANCE ~ DJ LANCE ~ DJ LANCE ROCK!!

  17. My favorite character is Plex. Plex is awesome because he is a robot and is the leader of the group. I love legos and he reminds me of a robot lego. Ha ha

  18. Yo Gabba Gabba is such a good show for toddlers. It teaches you some valuable lessons; such as – dont eat things that fall on the floor, dont bite your friends, be nice to everyone, etc. My favorite character is Foofa because she is such a happy and loving character. We also have 1 thing in common: we loooove flowers :)

  19. I love dancing and singing with my little sister (isabella) to all of the yo gabba gabba songs. We have every episode on dvd and we have watched them over 100 times. My favorite celebrity guest is definitely Elijah Woods. Everytime I watch that episode I get up and do the Puppet Master dance, even when Isabella isnt. Ha ha.

  21. HI! MY LITTLE MAN, BRYSON LOVES EVERYONE ON YO GABBA GABBA! IT IS THE FIRST THING HE WATCHES WHEN HE GETS UP AND THE LAST THING HE WATCHES BEFORE BED, LOL USUALLY FALLING ASLEEP TO IT :) HE LOVES BROBEE ! I GUESS I WOULD HAVE TO SAY HE IS HIS FAVORITE! WHAT A GREAT CONTEST!

  24. We, along with our 19mo old and our 6yr old LOVE Yo Gabba Gabba! While Foofa is our wee one’s fave, my personal preference is Muno; he’s so sweet and bumbling and well-intentioned – reminds me of me!

    My favorite celeb guest is a tie between Elijah Woods (so unexpected!) and Miss Gem Sweater, herself, Leslie Hall. What a fantastic show!

  25. Can’t believe I’m posting again so soon, but I keep thinking of other favorite guests and dances! I know they don’t really count as guests as the lead singer is one of the show’s creators, but I LOVE the Aquabats! As far as fave dances and songs are concerned, I’d have to tip my hat to the “Jumping Jellyfish”; my favorite song so far is “I’m So Sorry” – is it me, or does the progression sound an awful lot like the Human League’s “Only Human”?

  26. YGG is a staple in my household. My 2 year-old daughter is in love with the show. She is actually going to be Toodee for Halloween. The favorite in our household at the moment is “Lovely, Love my Family” by the Roots. Every time it comes on my daughter yells “Muno’s family!”

  33. We rock that show more then 5 hours a day! I can now repeat every line from season 1 – I know most of the shows from season 2 that are repeated and love the new once like dress up, boat, art, big, band, and family!

  43. My daighter Kimberly was 3 MONTHS old when she became mesmorized by Yo Gabba gabba. She is almost a year now and it still seems to be her favorite show. ..She Loves to get her “Silly’s out” and wiggles. We all love Brobee..hes adorable. Our favorite guest so far is Adam Sandberg so far on the show..I would like to see more of him! !

  44. Our favorite character here in my household is Plex! We love his robot dances and his voice is super cool. We love how he beams in all the special guests and is able to fix everything. My favorite was his super awesome Robot Wizzard costume!

  45. Our favorite star guest was def. Jack Black. I mean, he was hilarious in the show (isnt he everywhere). I love his dancey dance and when he dresses up in dj lance’s outfit. I hope he goes back for another episode.

  46. My sons favorite dancey dance is the Puppet Master!! Raise your knee..raise your other knee..raise your foot..raise your other foot, walk in a circle..now do the puppet master!!!! he cracks up everytime we play it and all get up to do the dancey dance together!!!
