Stay Warm with 7 A.M. Enfant

We’re in the midst of a crippling snowstorm here on the east coast, and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a snow day than checking out cold weather kid accessories.  The stroller blankets and buntings from 7 A.M Enfant have been a noticeable newcomer to the cold weather accessory scene, especially here in the NYC area.

The Le Sac Igloo 500 (LS500) and the Blanket B212 are both heavy duty buntings that are both stylish, but also functional for outerwear.  Le Sac Igloo has a waterproof shell, a durable and warm lining and can be detached to be used as a stroller blanket on its own.  They come in small, medium and large sizes and fit in many carriers and strollers.

The Blanket 212 Evolution boasts a few more features than the LS500, including zippered length and width extensions, as well as the capability to grow from infancy to preschool stages.  Also warm, functional and waterproof, the Blanket 212 Evolution is machine washable and  cozy.  It looks a bit like something from a mummy’s wardrobe, which has to be an implication of how warm it is, right?  I’m quite partial to the modern look and cool color palette (how fun is the plum?) of the Blanket 212 Evolution.

The Le Sac Igloo 500 and Blanket 212 Evolution both have zip up hoods, security straps, anti-slip back panels, five-point harness back openings and anti-pilling micro fleece lining.  Both of these buntings have won awards, and if you’re a celebrity spotter, apparently they dig ’em for their kids too.

The kid and I spend a good amount of time in the stroller on a day to day basis, including cold wintery days (well, maybe not during blizzards!) so a heavy duty and functional bunting is a necessity.  We are on our second bunting, which is, admittedly, no where near the same quality of the 7 A.M. Enfant blankets and buntings.  Check out the details on this thing!

Of course, the quality and modern style of the 7 A.M. Enfant Buntings are also reflected in their pricing.  The Le Sac Igloo is in the $120-$165 pricepoint, whereas the Blanket 212 Evolution is in the $199 range.  If you spend a good amount of time outdoors in the cold weather with kids in strollers in tow, 7 A.M.’s Le Sac Igloo and Blanket 212 Evolution are worth checking out.  I’m also loving the looks of their mittens and diaper bags.

7 A.M. products are available at Buy Buy Baby, baby boutiques and online at Amazon.
